For Tuesday, please complete the following:
1. Read Chapter 5 ("Rhetorical Analysis") in Everything's an Argument.
2. Select an argument to analyze for Unit 1. It can take the form of an advertisement (though not one for an educational product), a poem, an essay, a song, a movie, a book, a poster, a piece of art, etc. Email me by 8:00 am Tuesday with a copy or description of this argument so I can approve it.
3. On a sheet of paper, list the following for the argument you select: title of the argument; author/creator; original context of the argument (where it first appeared or where you found it); thesis of the argument; and any examples you see of pathos, ethos, and logos.
